Example If the phrase "holds another's affection", is taken literally, affection would be reified. You cannot literally hold affection.

Treatment Dealt with by looking for arguments that include objects that do not map to physical world objects or properties. Dealt with by pointing out that this object cannot be physically measured or manipulated.
